I want it to be fun doing these books, but it was grueling in the sense that I had to cram, cram, cram in the end.

I have always wondered what are you doing for a living (besides writing, obviously) and how on earth are you able to juggle a job, writing and personal life. Where do you find time for it all?
As for the book, it is excellent as all your creations and can't wait for the next installment!! September is too far away!

I used to ship Leonid and Serxio but now I ship Christopher and Serxio. I thought Serxio's interaction with Christopher outside Christopher's room where Serxio brought Christopher breakfast to go was really sweet!
Christopher certainly needs someone! I don't know if it will happen in these books or who it will be.
I know this is probably a weird question to put here in the spoiler/squee post--and I'm not sure if you've said elsewhere, sorry!!--but how many books will this series be, do you know? I'm trying to ration my reading, and so far I'm winning, but my willpower when it comes to your writing is pretty abysmal!

I anticipate 5 books. The next one is scheduled to be out in September.
- Finn, the ring and necklace you picked have really cool and useful powers. Are you SURE you don’t want to wear the other ones too?? Like, seriously you won’t even ask what powers they have?! They could be useful! Take them all with you dammit! XD (I know I would!)
- I’m glad we finally met King Tearlach! I’ve been wondering since the previous book whether he could be Marikoth in disguise (since he’s a creepy necromancer with white hair), and now we have more info on him. Hmmmm… I’m still not sure one way or another though!
- I’m glad Ryleth is ok, and I’m glad that Thalanil is finally changing his mind on some matters — like agreeing that Finn needs to be taught about Death Magic. Hopefully this is just the start and he will soon see reason on other matters too.
- Serxio taking care of Christopher is cute — but I still ship Serxio with Leonid!!! I ship Christopher with his lab haha.
- I wonder what Finn will be able to do to help with the zombie situation at the castle… His anti-zombie ring would really be useful in this situation, but as much as I would love for him to fly Silver Soul all the way to Rirea (if Tyreon opens the Wall for him), the time it would take him to get there would be hours or days in Rirean time. Maybe all he can do is warn them via the Luminus? :/ or will he see the fight from afar without being able to help at all?? Or is there a way to teleport? Aaaaah, we’ll have to wait to know the answer…

I agree that Finn should have taken all the jewelry. And he should've asked to see more of his collection. Surely there was a fire or teleportation ring/necklace that he could give to his boyfriend to fight the zombies!
I like your theory that Marikoth and Tearlach are one in the same person, but I think it's more likely that Tearlach is working for Marikoth. Tearlach mentioned that his county is rough and lacks fertile land needed for agriculture. Marikoth likely persuaded Tearlach by promising him fertile land in the fae territory.
Jewelry: He would be so weighed down by it all he couldn't move! I'll ask you guys for more ideas!
King Tearlach: He is a clever bastard. What or who else he may be will be interesting.
Thalanil is coming around. Slowly but surely.

Zombie Situation: I have an idea, but the timing is difficult.
I just started reading my free book, I loved the first 2, little disappointed that Rohan and Finn are separated. I know you Ray you will make it right. Love all your books. Books are my life.🤗😄🥰🍾
This is a necessary apart book. But next book they're going to be together all the time.
So I blew threw Ashes 3 because I couldn't wait for the copy I bought...OMG Ms. Reign!! You are going to kill me with angsts. The story so far has kept me riveted and I love the world they live in (so many possibilities). I should be use to your style of writing by now (sigh). I hope the final book is a bit longer because even though Finn and the King are "together" they've actually spent so much time apart... and I am sooo on board the Serxio and Leonid love train. Hope they get there moment too. Reading your stories are one of my great treasures and I hope you can continue for a long time. Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful love stories.

This book was absoloutly fantastic!!! But like the queen of chliffys you are you leave us hanging by our fingertips!!! I'm glad to see that daddy is not so set in his ways that he can't see reason!! I hope he will come around on other toppics in the next books too!!! And I really wonder whats the deal with King T he really knows too much!!!! Really suspicios especially with him stating the zombie attac/beeing right there when it started!!!! I wonder if he is working for Marikoth!!!! Such an facinating story!!! The long wait is really worth it!!!!
The series is fantastic! I bought the hard copy for book 1 & 2 and hope a paperback version of book 3 is on the way as well. I love your style of writing Raythe.
