We've been teasing you...

So we've been teasing your guys for the past week about what is coming. Well, now you get to know and you get to know FIRST as you are special!

As some of you know, I'm an audio junkie. I listen to books more than I read them these days because after staring at screens all day my eyes need a break. Plus, I can pop an audiobook on and do most anything while someone with a wonderful speaking voice tells me a story. If they're really good they act out the story.

Now I've really wanted to do that for one of the serials for Raythe Reign. But there are challenges, at least right now, to getting a voice actor to do one of those massive stories including cost, time, general flakiness of people, etc. But I still wanted to do something. 

Remember when I read a few chapters of Ever Dark for fun? Well, Kat and I talked about it, and we said: what if we did a podcast where I would act out all the characters, do voices, etc. and put it up first for members and then have it up on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, etc.?

The result of that conversation is today...

Dragon's Reign! 

​What we're doing is I am reading dramatically every chapter of Dragon's Reign.  As Members you will get to listen to these chapters first. In fact, you'll be at least 10 chapters ahead before we launch the official podcast.  You will get four chapters a month of me reading Dragon's Reign. 

The podcast will then start official on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, etc. We'll need your help to spread the word when that happens.  But that's still a couple months away.

Like all we do, our goal is to grown the Membership, and so don't be surprised when you hear the "advertisements" in the podcast itself urging people to come to the site to read this or look at that. Clearly, you already know this stuff. But what we hope is that people who listen to the podcast will come check us out and join our community.

If this is successful, I'll read other stories like this. You guys will have a voice in which ones.  And if we're REALLY SUCCESSFUL then we can look into hiring voice actors. One of the big things I want to do is to write an original radio play where we'll have loads of great actors read it to us, or rather act it for us!

But enough rambling! 

You can listen to the first chapter today right now here on the site. You'll see under Blog that there is now a down arrow and you'll be able to click on Podcast! That's where you'll find the chapters. If you look at the May Schedule you'll be able to see when the next chapter will be posted. We're doing 3 chapters this week alone.
