valkyrie char nafari

Nafari was the first-born son of the leader of the Fang Tribe, an African tribe located in Southern Gabon, Cameroon.  He was known in his tribe as the Shadow, for his ability to melt into the darkness and take an enemy down before they even knew he was there.

The Gash came to his village and began slaughtering the children of the tribe.  Nafari fell in battle to save his people. He was rewarded with immortality. He is second-in-command of the Valkyrie after Elda.

This loyal, trustworthy and brave soul becomes close friends with Liam. Like Elda, he sees the hole in Liam’s soul and wants it filled.

  • looking at Nafari I keep getting an Alby from the maze runner feel~ I have a feeling I'll like this character alot; especially his ability because I unconsciously do that around the house and end up scaring everyone

  • Right, I've noticed a similarity in the sound of his name to these two brothers: Narfi and Nari. They're Loki's sons. Just wanted to point out that odd coincidence. I noticed right away, actually. I do so love Loki.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it! Good catch lol. I love Loki too and hope he at least makes a small appearance or at least is mentioned.

  • Look at those pouty lips! If only he were real (swoon) Another strong looking side character, I hope he stays like that too but you can always surprise us ;)

The setting of this story sort of gives me that vibe from The Dark Hunters series, which I absolutely love to pieces! I'm more than excited for this story but I will endeavor to contain myself lol

  • Nafari looks the least intimidating to me of any of the warriors. Like, I feel like I can talk to him without (a) getting really nervous and blubbering like I would with Liam or (b) getting yelled at (Elda) and/or ignored (Lihua). Of course, this assessment is based solely upon their pictures. Who knows how I'll feel when their actually introduced.

*They're* in the last sentence. I hate it when I do that!

That cracked me up. Rarely does anyone correct them self. I think usually it's because they don't know it is incorrect or they don't believe it matters in this format. So I hope you excuse my finding humor in your addendum.
