I love music/songs in foreign languages, and I think this is a great way to find new ones and share our faves with others.

RULES:

1) You can only share one song per post.

2) You must wait until someone else has posted before you post again. (If it's been a couple days or more since anyone posted, you may go ahead and post again).

3) You must include the artist's name, song title and the language.

4) Songs must be in a foreign language (non-English). (Songs that have small parts sung in English are okay, but the majority must be in a foreign language).

5) Two songs in the same language cannot be posted back-to-back. They must alternate, so if someone posts a song in Russian, you cannot post another song in Russian right after that.

6) You must link to a music video, streaming audio file, etc., so that people can instantly listen to your song and don't have to go searching the web for it.

7) General chit-chat about the songs/artists that have been posted is allowed (and encouraged!) but you must also include a song of your own when you do that. This way we don't have several posts (or pages of posts) that are just chatter and don't actually contribute new songs to the game.

Also, feel free to share any additional links/info about the song or artist. For example: a link to the artist's Wikipedia page (for general info), their page at jpopasia (to easily find other music videos by that artist), a link to where the song/album can be purchased (yesasia.com, cduniverse.com, amazon.com, etc.).

This is actually a song off of the Ghost Ship soundtrack that just haunted me. If you've ever seen the movie you might remember the dancing scene where this song plays and where probably the most gruesome, frightening thing happens. It's a beautiful, haunting song. Check it out!

Mewniverse:  Oh!  That was a gorgeous song!  I’m not familiar with the group but I know I’ve seen them at jpopasia when I was browsing through the charts…will definitely hop over there later and take a listen to their other work after hearing this!  “Gothic masquerade” is a perfect description, I agree! 

Raythe:  That’s a beautiful song!  She’s got such a lovely voice.  I’ve seen the movie, Ghost Ship, and remember the scene where she performs it for the passengers!  It really is haunting…a good choice for a spooky movie.

Sambomaster is full of feel-good music, even if you don't know a word they're saying. They're unconventional, but the kind of group everyone could learn to like. The lead singer is eccentric, and amusing. They look like average joes who just want to relay the message of life. This song is definitely worth the listen!
