You're going to notice something different. You'll see a square that says: Author's Choice. What is that? It's to let me essentially work on whatever strikes my fancy. What could that be? Most likely for right now, it means The Sea and the Yakuza novel. But in truth, it could be an extra chapter of ANY of the novels. It could be a new work. It could be ... many chapters of an edited version of a finished work (think The Erl-King, imagine chapters 1-10 posted, all rock and foll). It's really to let me blow off steam and give my brain whatever it wants to do that particular day.
I am also considering doing something else, but I have no so far, because I want to get your feedback on it. Though I love Burn and The Lightless, they are by far, the least favorites of all of you. I am considering pulling them from the rotation putting in new novels (one Yakuza and the other after the Sea is finished a gothic vampire romance novella). Burn and The Lightless would then show up randomly as updates on Author Choice days probably with multiple chapters posted at a time, but it wouldn't be every month.
Now some people, though they might be few in number, they are passionate about these stories. These stories will be finished, but they simply wouldn't be put on main rotation.
I have put up a poll question on this on the first page. It requires you to vote twice. PLEASE DO NOT VOTE MORE THAN TWICE. I will know and it will cause me to have to make an executive decision, which I would rather leave to you guys.

In this chapter, Richard convinces Tristan and Caleb that they must leave for Neo-Tokyo that night, but first ... they need funds that Richard does not have.
We are now going back to our regularly scheduled stories. Forgive me for altering the schedule. But as those of you who were around for the beginning of Drakon remember there are times, very rarely I admit, when I NEED to write something and this new Yakuza novel is it. I know where I'm going. I've "seen" the villain and the story as its going forward. I can't wait to share all this with you. I intend to post chapters intermittently of this as I finish them. I will try to have one update definitely scheduled a month, but like The Sea, I hope to have more than one chapter at a time.
